Kanye West a.k.a. The Village Idiot

Ok, I normally don't post about what's going on in Hollywood because...well, frankly because I don't care. However, last night's "performance" by Kanye West was just ridiculous.

I think Pres. Lisa said it best when she referred to Kanye West as The Village Idiot. I seriously do not understand why they let this fool out in public. There should be a rule: if video cameras and mic's are in use, he is not invited.

I feel soo bad for Taylor Swift, that poor sweetheart! Also, I am once again impressed by Beyonce--the girl truly is a class act. She displayed an incredible amount of compassion and selflessness.

As for Kanye, someone should seriously keep him home. I'm happy to hear that he was at least thrown out of the awards. Great job MTV big-wig!! Now, let's remember to cross him off the list for next year's awards.

I have never in my life seen such a pitiful display, but then again I don't know why anyone is surprised after his racist outburst during the Hurricane Katrina relief concert (click here for his pitiful explanation). I don't know why anyone would expect him to read from a teleprompter being that he probably can't read in the first place. I honestly don't know how he can even remember his rap lyrics. Or how about at the 2004 American Music Awards went he went off? Umm, or the 2006 European Video Music Awards when he lost and jumped on stage embarrassing himself yet again, admitting afterward that his behavior was a result of too much "sippy, sippy" before the show.

I really hope his 5 minutes are just about over...

As for Lady Gaga--there is nothing ladylike about her. She really would be better off on Broadway. Wouldn't she make the perfect lion in The Wizard of Oz??

These two are a match made in...well, somewhere. It's so nice to have such well-rounded role models for our children isn't it?   To quote Kanye himself, "I always act a fool, ow, ow.  Ain't nothing new, now, now."
