Blissfully Domestic Inspiration Book

So, I know I've mentioned before that I have a thing for any type of journal, notebook, binder and pretty much anything else that holds paper. I'm not sure if it's because I love to write or I just have an unhealthy thing for organization. I say unhealthy because 9 out of 10 times I spend more time organizing my work rather than actually working. But hey! I always end up with a super cute book to hold my work and the work eventually does get done.

This is my new notebook for organizing all of my Blissfully Domestic notes and projects. With so much happening there, we are busy ladies!

I just cut out one of my fave magazine ads (this one's from Kate Spade) and taped it to the front. I love Kate Spade ads because they're always so fresh and feminine. Then I printed out the Blissfully Domestic logo and a few inspiring words and glued the to cardstock and then covered the whole thing with clear contact paper. I added a few tabs and Voila! I include any magazine articles or ideas that I find as well as all the other information pertaining to the site.

I got the idea while watching The Devil Wears Prada (I love that movie!). They always showed the mock-up of the magazine and I thought it looked so cool! Not to mention it would keep everything organized and looking fabulous!

It's great advertising too, I'm always brainstorming ideas and trying to organize post ideas everywhere we go and women from the soccer field, Starbucks, the Library always ask "What's Blissfully Domestic?" So it's a great way to get the word out about the site...
